A
hauntingly beautiful series of paintings that evoke the harshness and
beauty of the Australian Outback. This exhibition illustrates an
emotional response to our unique environment, capturing the vast
contradictions of our country from its rugged textures and intense
colours, to its perpetual horizons and wandering livestock. With a
diversity of artistic technique including oils, acrylic and natural
ochres direct from the earth they portray, this is an emotive and
spiritual collection from the diverse works of four contemporary
landscape artists.
